Purpose of the Competition
To enhance students’ innovative applications of generative AI tools and technologies, encourage developers and creators to expand their imagination, and create works that are both practical and have educational significance.
This competition is planned to span over two years: the first year focuses on basic applications and concept to ignite more enthusiasm among students, while the second year will concentrate on the development of advanced technologies and in-depth applications.
Registration Method
Participating teams must submit their entries before 12 PM on June 6, 2024, by completing the registration form, Personal Information Consent Form, and Copyright Authorization Agreement (allowing the school to display at designated locations). Along with the electronic file of the work's poster and video link (YouTube), submissions must be uploaded to the specified website within the registration period. Entries that do not comply with the relevant regulations will not be accepted and will not be notified directly.

Competition Description
Competition Method and Topics:
- Participating students form teams of 1 to 3 members and designate one person as the team leader. Using generative AI tools in the area of their expertise for creative applications, teams must introduce their project results by creating an electronic poster (Poster 60cm90cm, with image resolution not lower than 1920*1080) and an explanatory video (up to 5 minutes long on YouTube, with a resolution not lower than 720p) for submission. Teams that include cross-collegiate collaboration will receive additional points (this is an extra credit item, and the division of labor must be explained in the video).
- There is no restriction on language of the works, video subtitles are not mandatory, and the works must not reveal any information about the participants.
- High school students can form teams with students from Asia University.
Competition Categories:
Cultural and Creative Arts Group :
This category is for creations in areas such as visual arts, music and performance, crafts, film, etc.
Logical Thinking and Design Group :
This category is for programming, Internet of Things, big data applications, etc.
Problem Solving Group :
This category focuses on solutions and outcomes for issues in professional fields, student learning, practical cases, etc.
Concept Design Group :
This category involves designing and defining the basic concept, characteristics, and functionality of the work, including its features, user experience, etc.
High School Group :
The competition categories for this group are the same as the four mentioned above.
The poster content should include the following items:
Application introduction、operation methods、expected effects, etc.
Regulations of Evaluation
1. Preliminary Review:
- After the organizer summarize the competition materials, they will be sent to the evaluation committee for review. The reviewing period is from June 7, 2024, to June 11, 2024.
- The quotas of allowed in preliminary review for each category will be handled according to the following principles, and the list of final will be announced on this website on June 12, 2024. Works that pass the preliminary review will be awarded a certificate of nomination , and the teams will be invited to attend the 2024 Asian Generative AI Forum and Final Results Exhibition on June 15, 2024.
- Select 50% from within 20 participating teams
- Select 25% from within 40 participating teams
- Select 15% from within 80 participating teams
- For more than 80 participating teams, the proportion will be determined by the committee's deliberation and approval.
2. Those who pass the preliminary review are eligible to participate in the online voting for the Popularity and Creativity Awards. This aims to stimulate and enhance students' willingness and enthusiasm to take part. The voting period is from June 12, 2024, to 12 PM on June 14, 2024.
3. Finals and Results Presentation
- The evaluation committee will conduct the final review on the day of the presentation, and participants will give an oral report (8+2 minutes).
- Based on the committee's scoring, one gold, silver, and bronze medal award will be selected for each category, along with two honorable mentions per group. Awards may be withheld if necessary.
- Based on the accumulated number of votes, two Popularity Awards and one Creativity Award will be selected.
- Based on the final score by the committee for each group, the Championship and the second place will be selected. Awards may be withheld if necessary.
- The winners will be awarded by the principal at the time and place designated by the organizer.

- Completeness of the Work:25%
- Voting Points:5%
- Cross-College Collaboration:5% (This is an extra credit item, and the division of labor must be explained in the video.)

A:The instrustors can be professors at Asia university or teachers in Senior high school.

A : Teachers and students who are willing to participate need to find their members when registrating, the organizer won't actively match teachers and students.
